Alexandre Paulikevitch’s debut Oriental dance performance, “Mouhawala Oula,” was highly anticipated by those who have followed the artist’s evolution in creating this unique body of work, which challenges gender stereotypes. read more….

On Sunday Madagascan domestic workers in Lebanon celebrated...

Vivian and friend.

Madagascan women celebrate Independence

Representing Madagascar

Last dance.

On Sunday Madagascan domestic workers in Lebanon celebrated Independence Day, which was actually last month but due to the political situation in the country organizers saw no reason to celebrate.
Founded in May 2 008, the Social Media Exchange provides media training and consulting to civil society and nonprofit organizations in Lebanon and, soon, throughout the Middle East and North Africa. Their mission is to encourage Internet adoption and multimedia expression in the region as a means of self-empowerment and self-advocacy. www.SMEx.org
